LAND

 In the first nine weeks of the course, we will focus on the idea of experiencing land. The ground beneath out feet. The pavement.The holes and gaps and construction in the city scape. The street lights. The manholes that lead to the sewers and the underground parts of the city. This will also include a couple of weeks of discussing transportation systems, reading excerpts, listening to sound performances that refer to particular movements across cities through vehicles and will also encompass walks we shall perform on land.
